Obliterating our previous record of 10 (ten) simultaneous CD releases, on December 14th, TWENTY AWARD-WINNING STUDENTS OF CRAIG LIABRAATEN RELEASED THEIR LATEST COMPACT DISCS ON THE SAME DAY, AN EVENT UNPRECEDENTED EVEN AMONG MAJOR STUDIOS IN NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL MARKETS.

These gifted young artists of all ages captured their student demo awards at the annual LiaBraaten Studio Awards Recital held each Spring in Northern Minnesota. These unique awards, valued at $600 to $1,000 are sponsored and fully funded by the LiaBraaten Teaching Studios of Hibbing, Eveleth, and Ely Minnesota in partnership with Living Water Music Recording Studios, Inc. Student Demo Scholarships are performance-based awards determined by a panel of professional musicians (adjudicators) who determine a point total for each of the Finalists. The sum total of these twenty scholarships was nearly $20,000, which brings the grand total in scholarships awarded by LiaBraaten since 1994 to a total of over $211,000. No other private studio in Minnesota is doing this, and we are both pleased and humbled by the tremendous impact these awards have on the students.
